User Data Deletion

This page explains how users can request deletion of personal data handled by ThoughtfulAI Studios Private Limited ("StoreCrew", "we", "us", or "our") in connection with the StoreCrew platform, websites, hosted stores, and related services.

Please do not send sensitive payment credentials, passwords, full card numbers, Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, or unnecessary identity documents by email.

3. What happens next

  1. We acknowledge the request and may ask for information needed to verify your identity or authority.
  2. We identify the relevant StoreCrew systems, support records, marketing lists, and merchant store records.
  3. We delete or anonymise eligible personal data and close the account if account deletion was requested by an authorised account owner.
  4. We confirm completion or explain any limited data we must retain for legal, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, or operational reasons.

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Complex requests, merchant-store shopper requests, or legally sensitive requests may require additional time, in which case we will keep you informed.

6. Shopper data in merchant stores

If you are a shopper who purchased from a StoreCrew-hosted merchant store, the merchant is usually the Data Fiduciary for your order and customer data. StoreCrew processes that data on the merchant's behalf.

You may contact the merchant directly for the fastest response. If you contact StoreCrew, we will help identify the relevant merchant or coordinate with them where appropriate. We may need the merchant's instruction before deleting shopper data that belongs to their store records.
